In this post we will go through the guide to unlock bootloader on Nexus 10.
The guide is only for Samsung Nexus 10 and cannot be tried on any other device. You can check Model number of device by going to Settings >> About phone.
We cannot be held liable of any damage done to your device while following the below mentioned procedure.
Unlock bootloader on Nexus 10
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Download and install Android SDK to install drivers.
Download Fastboot (Fastboot.zip) required to unlock bootloader. Extract the contents of Fastboot.zip in Fastboot folder and copy the folder to C drive in your computer.
Switch off device and boot into fastboot mode. Hold down Volume Up, Volume down and Power buttons simultaneously till the screen turns on.
Connect your device to computer using USB cable and install the required drivers.
Click on Command Prompt in your computer and type the following commands. Press enter after typing each commnad-
fastboot oem unlock
Your device will reboot automatically and you unlocked bootloader on Nexus 10.
To relock bootloader on Nexus 10 follow the above mentioned guide but replace fastboot oem unlock by fastboot oem lock in Command Prompt.
