Root Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G903M running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Rooting enables you to install apps which require root access, however rooting voids warranty of your device. To regain warranty you will have to install official firmware.Android 5.1.1 firmware using CF-Auto- Root.

The guide mentioned below is only for Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G903M  running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop build id(LMY47X.G903MUBU1APB5) and cannot be tried on any other device.To know the model number of your device go to Settings >> About Phone.

Root Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G903M Running On Android 5.1.1 using Chainfire CF Auto Root

Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.

Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.

Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.

Download CF- Auto Root for Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G903M 

Download  Odin (Odin3_v3.09.zip).

Extract the Firmware file which you have downloaded in above step. You will get “.tar” file along with other files.

You will get “.tar.md5” file.

Extract Odin to get “Odin3 v3.09.exe” file.

Switch off device.

Boot device into download mode. Press and hold Volume Down, Home, Power till device turns on and then press Volume Up to enter download mode.

Connect device to computer using USB cable. Odin will detect your device and ID:COM will turn yellow and a message appears saying “Added”. Re-install drivers if Odin fails to detect device.

Click on “PDA button” in Odin and navigate to select “Click on “PDA button” in Odin and navigate to select “.tar.md5″ file which you have downloaded.

In Odin make sure that “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time” are selected and “Re-Partition” check box is unchecked.

Click on Start button in Odin to start rooting. When flashing is complete you will get a PASS message.

Disconnect device from your computer and let it boot automatically
