How To Install TWRP Recovery on Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Download TWRP Recovery for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from here .
Download Odin (Odin3_v3.1.1.zip).
Download a .tar image of TWRP on your computer.
Switch off your device,.Reboot Galaxy Note 8 to download mode by holding [VOLUME DOWN] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] for approx. 15 seconds.
Read the warning carefully.
If you agree, press [VOLUME UP] to get into Download mode. If you don’t agree, STOP.
Connect device to computer using USB cable. Odin will detect your device and ID:COM will turn yellow and a message appears saying “Added”. Re-install drivers if Odin fails to detect device.
Click on “AP button” in Odin and navigate to select “Click on “AP button” in Odin and navigate to select “.tar.md5″ file which you have downloaded.
In Odin make sure that “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time” are selected and “Re-Partition” check box is unchecked.
Click on Start button in Odin to start flashing TWRP Recovery. When flashing is complete you will get a PASS message.
Disconnect device from your computer and let it boot automatically.

Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Install the ADB and fastboot drivers on your PC.
Download the latest dm-verity and force encryption disabler zip.
Download SuperSU. Transfer both the zip files to your device.
Switch off your device. Reboot Galaxy Note 8 to download mode by holding [VOLUME DOWN] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] for approx. 15 seconds. Press Power button once you see Samsung logo.
Your device will be in Recovery Mode.
Go to Install in recovery mode and flash the dm-verity-opt-encrypt zip.
Flash SuperSU on your device, it will take some time.
Your device will reboot once SuperSU is flashed.
You have rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and installed TWRP Recovery.
