LG Optimus G users can now easily root their device, rooting of device is now possible because of XDA member galeri. Rooting enables users to install apps which requires root access on your device, however rooting voids device warranty.
The guide mentioned below is only for LG Optimus G Korean version and can also work on AT&T Optimus G. You can check Model number of device by going to Settings >> About phone.

Root LG Optimus G
Download and install drivers for LG Optimus G on your computer here (RootOptimusG.rar). Extract the file.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Connect device to your computer.
Run “RootOptimusG.bat” file by launching RootOptimusG folder. Open a command prompt window and type “y” for yes and process of rooting will start.
Once the process gets finished. Now, select “restore my data” to restore your device.
When device gets rooted, and check for SuperSU app installed by going to app drawer.
Your device LG Optimus G is now rooted and you can go ahead to install apps which requires root access.
