How To Root Lenovo Zuk Z1
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Install the ADB and fastboot drivers on your PC.
At first download SuperSU.zip and transfer it to sdcard of your device.
Switch off Lenovo Zuk Z1 and boot into CWM Recovery by pressing “Volume UP and Power” button simultaneously.
Select and confirm “Install from Zip” and select “BETA–SuperSU-v2.67-20160121175247.zip
” and proceed to root.
Select and confirm ‘Reboot’
Lenovo Zuk Z1 is rooted.
Install TWRP Recovery On Lenovo Zuk Z1
Download TWRP Recovery image on your computer for Lenovo Zuk Z1 from here
Rename the image to twrp.img.
Copy the TWRP file in the same folder of ADB.
Connect Lenovo Zuk Z1 to computer using USB cable.
Right click on the command folder to “Open command window here” option.
Open a command prompt and type:
adb reboot bootloader
To flash TWRP recovery, type in the command:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Once done, disconnect your from the PC and reboot the phone into recovery mode.
