Root Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and install TWRP Recovery. Galaxy Note 7 is a 5.7 inches smartphone having a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, 4 GB RAM and running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

TWRP Recovery will enable you to install Custom ROMs, MODs and more.

The guide mentioned below is only for Galaxy Note 7 on N930F, N930FD, N930S, N930L and N930K  models and cannot be tried on any other device.To know the model number of your device go to Settings >> About Phone.

How To Root Galaxy Note 7

Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.

Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.

Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.

Install the ADB and fastboot drivers on your PC.

At first download SuperSU.zip and transfer it to sdcard of your device.

Switch off Galaxy Note 7 and boot into CWM Recovery by pressing “Volume UP and Power” button simultaneously.

Select and confirm “Install from Zip” and select “SuperSU zip file” proceed to root.

Select and confirm ‘Reboot’

Galaxy Note 7 is rooted.

and Odin(Odin3_v3.09.zip).

Extract the Firmware file which you have downloaded in above step. You will get “.tar” file along with other files.

You will get “.tar.md5” file.

Extract Odin to get “Odin3 v3.09.exe” file.

Switch off device.

Boot device into download mode. Press and hold Volume Down, Home, Power till device turns on and then press Volume Up to enter download mode.

Connect device to computer using USB cable. Odin will detect your device and ID:COM will turn yellow and a message appears saying “Added”. Re-install drivers if Odin fails to detect device.

Click on “PDA button” in Odin and navigate to select “Click on “PDA button” in Odin and navigate to select “.tar.md5″ file which you have downloaded.

In Odin make sure that “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time” are selected and “Re-Partition” check box is unchecked.

Click on Start button in Odin to start flashing TWRP Recovery. When flashing is complete you will get a PASS message.

Disconnect device from your computer and let it boot automatically.
