ASUS Transformer TF300T users can update their device to official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware version 10.4.2.13 and all thanks goes to XDA Senior Member surdu_petr who has made it possible for users to Root their ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T on latest official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware.
This guide is compatible with only Asus Transformer TF300T. Check your device model by going to Settings >> About Tablet.

Root ASUS Transformer TF300T On Jelly Bean 10.4.2.13 Firmware
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
TWRP recovery should be installed on your device and bootloader unlocked. You can unlock bootloader by going to ASUS support.
Enable USB Debugging. Go to “Settings” >> “Developer settings” >> Enable “USB debugging” option.
Download the rooted firmware from here .The file name is Filename: asus.7z.
Extract the file which you have downloaded above where you will get file “asus.zip” and copy the file to SD-Card of your device.
Switch off device and boot into TWRP recovery. Select Volume Down and Power till you get a message on-screen saying “Press Vol. Up to enter RCK (5s)”. Press Volume Up to enter into TWRP recovery.
Select “Wipe” and then click on “Cache/Dalvik cache” to clear the cache.
Select “Install” from SD-Card and then navigate to select “asus.zip” file which you have copied and “Confirm” to install. Once installation is complete select “Reboot system” to reboot your device which will take few minutes.
ASUS Transformer TF300T is now rooted on 10.4.2.13 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware. You can check your device is rooted by installing “Root Checker” app from Google Play.
