TWRP recovery is the most popular recovery as it offers touch-interface, fast backup and restore, file manager, theme support and more. Recognized XDA developer member Dees_Troy has released TWRP recovery for HTC Droid DNA. Before you go ahead to install TWRP recovery on HTC Droid DNA, you should unlock bootloader on HTC Droid DNA. Install TWRP Recovery on HTC Droid DNA
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Download HTC Sync on your computers to install required drivers.
Download TWRP Recovery from here (openrecovery-twrp-126.96.36.199-dlx.img).
Download Fastboot (Fastboot.zip) to flash recovery on your device.
Extract “Fastboot.zip” file to a folder named as “Fastboot” in C drive.
Now, copy “.img ” file of recovery to fastboot folder.
Switch off device and boot into fastboot mode. Holding down Volume Up, Volume down and Power buttons simultaneously till the screen turns on.
Connect device to computer via USB Cable and wait till the drivers get installed, if not done already.
Open Command Prompt to flash recovery image on your device. Go to Fastboot folder on C drive and type following commands and press enter after typing each commands-
To flash recovery type-
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-188.8.131.52-dlx.img
To reboot device type-
TWRP recovery is installed on HTC Droid DNA.
