If you have rooted HTC 10 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, install TWRP Recovery on HTC 10 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. ADB is used to install TWRP Recovery on HTC 10.
The guide mentioned below is only for HTC 10 and cannot be tried on any other device or variant.
Install TWRP Recovery On HTC 10
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device.
Install the ADB and fastboot drivers on your PC.
Download TWRP Recovery image on your computer for HTC 10 from here.
Rename the image to twrp.img.
Copy the TWRP file in the same folder of ADB.
Connect HTC 10 to computer using USB cable.
Right click on the command folder to “Open command window here” option.
Open a command prompt and type:
adb reboot bootloader
To flash TWRP recovery, type in the command:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Once done, disconnect your from the PC and reboot the phone into recovery mode.
