Google Pixel 2 comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels, powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, runs on Android 8.0.0 Oreo and has 4GB of RAM.
Install TWRP Recovery on Google Pixel 2 running on Android 8.0.0. ADB is used to install TWRP Recovery 3.2.0 on Google Pixel 2.
The guide mentioned below is only for Google Pixel 2 cannot be tried on any other device or variant.
Install TWRP Recovery 3.2.0 On Google Pixel 2
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device.
Install the ADB and fastboot drivers on your PC.
Download TWRP Recovery image on your computer for Google Pixel 2 from here.
Rename the image to twrp.img.
Copy the TWRP file in the same folder of ADB.
Connect HTC One M9 to computer using USB cable.
Right click on the command folder to “Open command window here” option.
Open a command prompt and type:
adb reboot bootloader
To flash TWRP recovery, type in the command:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.0-0-walleye.img
Once done, disconnect your from the PC and reboot the phone into recovery mode.
