Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 users can install Slim Bean ROM based on Android 4.2.1. The ROM is being released by XDA Recognized Developer krarvind. The ROM has been compiled from AOSP source and is a Custom ROM.
In this article we will be going through step by step guide to install Slim Bean ROM based on Android 4.2.1 on Galaxy Note N7000. The ROM is in beta stage so there may be bugs.

The guide mentioned below is only for Galaxy Note N7000 and will not work on any other device. To check the Model of your device go to Settings >> About phone

Install Slim Bean Android 4.2.1 ROM On Galaxy Note N7000
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Make sure that ClockworkMod Recovery is installed.
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
Switch off device.
Boot into recovery. Press and hold down the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons to enter recovery.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and wait for data to get wiped completely.
Perform a Nandrop backup of your existing ROM. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup” again. Now, go back to main recovery menu once backup is complete.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to “Slim Bean ROM” file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait for few minutes.
Repeat the procedure to install Google apps by selecting “choose zip from sdcard” and then select “Gapps.zip” and install.
Select “reboot system now”.
