Galaxy Note 2 L900 can install Android 4.2.1 via Paranoid Android ROM. Paranoid Android ROM is a Custom ROM based on Alpha CM10 and has feature of pre app customization. You can have the layout of apps as you desire, it doesn’t matter that you running device in Phone, Phablet or Tablet-UI.
The ROM is in development stage, hence there may be few bugs or issues which may be resolved soon.
The guide is only for Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 having model number SPH-L900 and cannot be tried on any other device. You can find model of your device by going to Settings >> About Phone.

Install Paranoid Android ROM on Galaxy Note 2 L900
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
ClockworkMod recovery should be installed.
Download Paranoid Android Custom ROM (pa_l900-2.56-alpha1.zip) and Google Apps Package (gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip).
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
Switch off device and boot into recovery. You can do that by holding power button and volume down button and enter recovery.
Perform a Nandrop backup of your existing ROM so that you can revert if things don’t go well. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup again”.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and wait till the data gets wiped completely.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to Paranoid Android ROM file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait for few minutes.
Repeat the procedure to install Google apps by selecting “choose zip from sdcard” and then select “Gapps.zip” and install.
Select “reboot system now”.
You have installed Paranoid Android ROM based on Android 4.2.1 Galaxy Note 2 L900.
