Google Nexus 10 can be updated to most stable Custom ROM, Paranoid Android ROM which is based on Android 4.2.1. We have already gone through how to install AOKP ROM on Nexus 10 .
Paranoid Android ROM is not an official ROM by Google but a Custom ROM. We will be going through the guide to install Paranoid Android ROM on Google Nexus 10.
The guide mentioned below is only for Google Nexus 10 and cannot be tried on any other device.
We cannot be held liable of any damage done to your device while following the below mentioned procedure.
Install Paranoid Android ROM on Google Nexus 10
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Download Paranoid Android ROM ( pa_manta-2.99.8r2-15DEC2012-173330.zip) and Google Apps Package (pa_gapps-full-4.2-20121214.zip).
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device. Don’t extract the files.
Switch off device and boot into recovery. Hold power button and volume down button and enter recovery.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and wait till the data gets wiped completely.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to Paranoid Android ROM file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait till it gets installed.
Repeat the procedure to install Google apps by selecting “choose zip from sdcard” and then select “Gapps.zip” and install.
Select “reboot system now”.
You have installed Paranoid Android ROM based on Android 4.2.1 on Google Nexus 10.
