Install Motorola Blur UI Android 4.2.1 Custom ROM on Nexus 4
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Bootloader on your device should be unlocked. Guide to unlock bootloader on Nexus 4.
ClockworkMod Recovery On Nexus 4 should be installed.
Download Motorola Blur UI Android 4.2.1 Custom ROM (MotoBlurNexus4.zip).
Copy the zip file to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
Switch off device and boot into bootloader mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power buttons and select recovery from there.
Take a Nandrop backup of your device. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup” again.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and confirm to wipe data completely. It will take few minutes, wait.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to Motorola Blur UI ROM file and select to confirm installation. Wait till installation is complete.
Select “Go Back” and select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your device.
Motorola Blur UI Android 4.2.1 Custom ROM on Nexus 4 is installed.
