Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 users can install CyanogenMod 10 based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is the preview build of CM 10 so you may experience bugs.

The guide mentioned below is only for Galaxy Note N7000 and will not work on any other device. You can check device model by going to Settings >> About Phone.

Install CyanogenMod 10 on Galaxy Note N7000
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
ClockworkMod recovery should be installed on your device.
Download the latest CM10 ROM from here and Google Apps from here.
Copy both the zip files without extracting to your device SD-Card.
Switch off device and boot into recovery mode. Hold power button and volume down button and enter recovery.
Take a Nandrop backup of your existing ROM so that you can revert if required. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup” again.
Select the option of “wipe data/factory reset” to wipe all the data.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to the “ROM” file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait till installation gets complete.
Repeat the same procedure to install “Google Apps” also. Wait till the installation gets complete.
Select “go back” and then select “reboot system now”.
