HTC One S users can update their device to Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean with the help of CyanogenMod 10.1 (CM10.1). HTC One S is 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is powered by Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor. Android 4.2.1 comes with features such as Lock screen widgets, Swype-like typing, panoramic 360 photography and more.
CM10.1 for HTC One S is a source built CM10.1 and has few issues and bugs. This is unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 release.

Install CyanogenMod 10.1 based on Android 4.2.1 on HTC One S
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
ClockworkMod recovery should be installed on your device.
Download CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM (cm-10.1-20121224-UNOFFICIAL-ville.zip) and Google Apps Package (gapps-jb-20121130-signed.zip).
Copy both the zip files without extracting to SD-Card of your device.
Switch off device and boot into Recovery. You can do that by holding down Volume down and Power buttons simultaneously and using Volume buttons select Recovery mode.
Perform a Nandrop backup of your current ROM so that you can revert later if required. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup” again.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and confirm to wipe data. Wait till data gets wiped.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to ROM file and select to confirm installation. Wait till installation gets completed.
Select “choose zip from sdcard” again and select to install “Google apps package”.
Select “Go Back” and select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your device.
CyanogenMod 10.1 (CM10.1) based on Android 4.2.1 is installed on HTC One S.
