Samsung Sprint Galaxy S3 users can now install Clockworkrecovery mod (CWM) and TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) easily on their device using Odin Software by Samsung. As you must be aware that CWM enables users to install Custom ROMs. Thanks goes to Senior Member cybrnook for making it possible to install CWM and TWRP using Odin on Galaxy S 3. Though CWM is the most common used recovery but TWRP has better interface and features.
In this post we will go through how to install CWM and TWRP on Sprint Galaxy S3.
The guide is only for Sprint Galaxy S3 and not for any other variant. You can check model no. of device by going to Settings >> About Phone.

Install CWM recovery or TWRP on Samsung Sprint Galaxy S3
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable USB Debugging. Go to “Settings” >> “Developer settings” >> Enable “USB debugging” option.
Download Odin filename – Odin3-v3.04.zip and CWM or TWRP recovery file from here Filename- clockworkmod.tar. Don’t extract the file.
Launch Odin on your computer and extract “Odin3-v3.04.zip”. You will get “Odin3 v3.04.exe”
Switch off your device and enter into download mode. Press Volume down and Home buttons alonng with Power buttons till you get a Warning message. Press Power button again to enter into download mode.
Connect your device with computer using USB cable. You will get a message “Added” on Odin and ID:COM section turns Yellow.
In Odin click on “PDA” and select “clockworkmod.tar file” which you have downloaded above.
Click on “Start” button to start installing CWM/TWRP recovery on your device. Once installation is complete your device will boot automatically.
ClockworkMod/TWRP recovery is successfully installed on your Samsung Sprint Galaxy S3.
