You can now install CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001 and all thanks goes to XDA Senior Member Doomsday94 for making it possible.
This is not an official update by Samsung and there may be bugs.

The ROM and guide is only for Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT I9001 and is not capable with any other device.You can check device model by going to Settings >> About Phone.

Install Jelly Bean based on CM10 on Galaxy S Plus I9001
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable USB Debugging. Go to “Settings” >> “Developer settings” >> Enable “USB debugging” option.
Download the latest CyanogenMod 10 ROM and Google Apps package and copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device.
Switch off device and enter into TWRP recovery mode. Press and hold Volume Up and Power buttons together and leave buttons once the logo of Samsung appears. Press Menu to enter into recovery mode.
Select “Wipe/Factory Reset” and confirm to wipe data. Wait for few minutes.
Select “Install” from SD-Card and then navigate to select ROM file which you have downloaded in earlier step to install. Wait till it gets installed.
Repeat installtion of Google Apps package in the same way as you installed ROM file above.
Once installtion is complete, select “Reboot system” to reboot your device which will take few minutes.
Your Galaxy S Plus GT I9001 is now running on CM10 based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
