CM10.1 nightly build on Nexus 4 based on Android 4.2.2 is available to be installed. Android 4.2.2 for Nexus 4 along with other few devices was released few days back.
We will go through the guide to install CyanogenMod10.1 Android 4.2.2 on Nexus 4.
CM10.1 is a Custom ROM based on ASOP and is still in development stage, hence there may be bugs and issues.
The guide is only for LG Nexus 4 and cannot be tried on any other device. You can find model of your device by going to Settings >> About Phone.
Install CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 on Nexus 4
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.

Download CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 for Nexus 4 (cm-10.1-20130218-NIGHTLY-mako.zip and Google Apps Package.
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
Switch off device and boot into recovery. Hold power button and volume down button and enter recovery.
Perform a Nandrop backup of your existing ROM. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup again”.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and wait till the data gets wiped.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to the CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait for few minutes till installation gets complete.
Repeat the procedure to install Google apps by selecting “choose zip from sdcard” and then select “Gapps.zip” and install.
Select “reboot system now”.
CyanogenMod 10.1 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is installed on LG Nexus 4.
