Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is of 7.0 inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixel and running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb. If you want to install the latest Android OS you will have to either wait for the official release or install ClockworkMod Recovery. Installing CWM will enable you to install latest Custom ROMs.
In this post we will be going through how to install ClockworkMod Recovery on Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
The guide is only for Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi variant having Model number GT-P6210, GT-P6210L or GT-P6211 and will not work on any other variant or device. You can find model of your device by going to Settings >> About Tablet.

Install ClockworkMod Recovery on Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6210
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Install Kies software for installing USB drivers.
Download ClockworkMod Recovery 220.127.116.11 image for GT-P6210 (filename – p6210-clockworkmod-18.104.22.168.img, md5sum: e71feb63ee44a7e809b6c2e7ae6d6e7d) and install Heimdall 1.3.1 on your computer.
Switch off device and enter into download mode. Press and hold Power and Volume Down buttons to enter your device into download mode. Connect your device to your computer via USB cable.
Open a command prompt on your computer. Change directory location of “p6210-clockworkmod-22.214.171.124.img”.
Type the command –
heimdall flash –recovery p6210-clockworkmod-126.96.36.199.img
to flash kernel to your device.
When kernel gets flashed your device will boot by itself.
ClockworkMod Recovery is installed on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus GT-P6210.
