Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 users can install ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery on their device. ClockworkMod Recovery lets you to install Custom ROMs on your device. We will be going through the guide to install CWM Recovery on Galaxy Note 10.1.
The guide is only for Galaxy Note 10.1 Model number GT-N8000, GT-N8010, and GT-N8013 and is not compatible with any other Android device.To know the Model No. of device go to Settings >> About Tablet.

Install ClockworkMod Recovery on Galaxy Note 10.1
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Download Kies Software to install drivers.
Download Odin v3.07 required to flash recovery.
Download ClockworkMod recovery (GalaxyNote10.1/recovery/N8000_StockRecovery.tar) for Galaxy Note 10.1.
Extract Odin to get “Odin3 v3.07.exe” file.
Switch off device and boot into download mode. Press Volume down and Home buttons alonng with Power buttons till you get a Warning message. Press Power button again to enter into download mode.
Connect device to computer using USB cable. Odin will detect your device and ID:COM will turn yellow and a message appears saying “Added”. Re-install drivers if Odin fails to detect device.
Click on “PDA button” in Odin and navigate to select “.tar″ file which you have downloaded.
In Odin make sure that “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time” are selected and “Re-Partition” check box is unchecked.
Click on Start button in Odin to start flashing recovery image. When flashing is complete you will get a PASS message.
Disconnect device from your computer and let it boot automatically.
ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your Galaxy Note 10.1.
