ASUS Nexus 7 has received a new Custom ROM named as JellyBeer ROM, based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The ROM is CM10.1 based Hybrid ROM. The ROM will bring new features, customization and will improve performance of your Nexus 7.
This is not an official ROM by Samsung but a Custom ROM.

The guide mentioned below is only for ASUS Nexus 7 and cannot be tried on any other device. To know the Model No. of device go to Settings >> About Tablet.

Install Android 4.2.2 JellyBeer ROM on ASUS Nexus 7
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
ClockworkMod Recovery on your Nexus 7 should be installed.
Download JellyBeer ROM and Google Apps Package on Nexus 7.
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
Switch off device and boot into recovery. Hold power button and volume down button and enter recovery.
Select “wipe data/factory reset”, wipe cache partition” and in Advanced select “Wipe Dalvik Cache”.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to “JellyBeer ROM” file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait till it gets installed.
Repeat the procedure to install Google apps by selecting “choose zip from sdcard” and then select “Gapps.zip” and install.
Select “reboot system now”.
JellyBeer ROM based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on Nexus 7 is installed.
