Google has rolled out Android 4.2.1 OTA update for Nexus 4 to fix December bug in the People app. You can check if you have received OTA by going to Settings >> About Phone >> System Updates, however if you have missed OTA then here is the guide to install Adroid 4.2.1 OTA manually on your LG Nexus 4.
The ROM and guide mentioned is only for LG Nexus 4 and may not work on any other device.

Install Android 4.2.1 OTA on Nexus 4
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Download and install Android SDK to install required drivers.
Download Android 4.2.1 OTA update.
Switch off device and boot into recovery. To do so, hold down Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons together till the screen turns on. When Android logo with Red exclamation appears then hold Power button and press Volume Up key to find recovery menu and then select “apply update from adb”.
Connect device to computer using USB cable and open command prompt on your computer.
Type the following command in the command prompt – adb sideload 625f5f7c6524.signed-occam-JOP40D-from-JOP40C.625f5f7c.zip.
When the update gets installed your device will reboot by itself. Disconnect device from your computer.
