Update ASUS Transformer TF700 tablet with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean via Custom ROM easily. The ROM has been developed by Recognized XDA Developer hiemanshu, is based on CyanogenMod 10 and is still in Alpha stage. We are not sure as to when official update of Android 4.1.2 for ASUS Transformer TF700 will be available.
Currently, Wifi, BT, Audio, Camera, HDMI Out, Static Wallpaper, Portrait Mode, GPS are working whereas Front Camera is not working with the ROM.
In this post we will be going through the guide to install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on ASUS Transformer TF700.
The guide mentioned below is only for ASUS Transformer TF700 and cannot be tried on any other device.

Install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean based CM10 custom ROM firmware on Asus Transformer TF700
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable USB Debugging. You can do that by going to “Settings” >> “Developer settings” >> Enable “USB debugging” option.
Your device should be rooted and ClockworkMod recovery should be installed on your device.
Download CM 10 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ROM and Google Apps Package.
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
Switch off device.
Enter into recovery mode. Press and hold down the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons to enter recovery.
Select “wipe data factory reset” and then “wipe cache partition”.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to ROM file on SD Card and confirm to install. Wait it gets installed.
Repeat the same process to install Google Apps package. Wait for few minutes till installation gets complete.
Select “Go back” and select “reboot system now”.
