How to root Galaxy Y S5360
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Download Galaxy Y S5360 root package from here.
Connect your device to computer using USB cable.
Copy the root file which you have downloaded to your device SD-Card.
Switch off device and boot into recovery. Holding power button and volume down button and enter recovery.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and wait till the data gets wiped completely.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to root file which you have downloaded and confirm to “install”. Wait for installation to get complete.
Select “reboot system now”.
Your Galaxy Y S5360 is rooted now.
