Here, we will go through the step by step guide to install LiquidSmooth ROM for Nexus 4. You should know that this is a Custom ROM and not an official ROM by Google or LG.
The guide mentioned below is only for the LG Nexus 4 and cannot be tried on any other device.
We cannot be held liable of any damage done to your device while following the below mentioned procedure.
Install LiquidSmooth ROM on LG Nexus 4
Take a complete backup of data,apps and settings as the procedure may wipe your data.
Make sure that the battery of device has a minimum charge of 60%.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
ClockworkMod Recovery on LG Nexus 4 should be installed.
Bootloader on Nexus 4 should be unlocked.
Copy both the zip files to SD-Card of your device without extracting.
SWitch off device and boot into recovery. You can do that by holding down Volume down and Power buttons simultaneously and then using Volume buttons select Recovery mode.
Take a backup of your existing ROM so that you can revert later if required. Select “Backup and Restore” and then select “Backup” again.
Select “wipe data/factory reset” and confirm to wipe data completely. Wait for few minutes till the data gets wiped.
Select “install zip from sdcard” and select “choose zip from sdcard”. Navigate to Slim Bean ROM file and select to confirm installation. Wait for installation to get complete.
Similarly, select “choose zip from sdcard” again and select to install “Google apps package”.
Select “Go Back” and select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your device.
LiquidSmooth ROM on LG Nexus 4 is installed.
