Samsung Galaxy S3 users can now flash custom ROMs on their device without worrying for network connectivity on your device. EFS data containing the device IMEI information may get erased while flashing Custom ROM for some users. XDA Senior Member as i9000 has come up with a tool which enables to back up and restore EFS data on Galaxy S3 with a single click.
The guide mentioned below is only for Galaxy S3 and its variants. It will not work on any other Android device.

Backup and Restore EFS/IMEI on Galaxy S3 with One-Click Tool
You need a rooted Galaxy S3 device to install EFS. Download “Root checker” app from Google Play to find if your device is rooted.
Enable “USB debugging” on your device by going to Settings >> Developer options >> Enable USB debugging.
Connect your device to computer and double-click to open “Backup_EFS file” which you have downloaded and then simply follow the instructions to backup your Galaxy S3 EFS folder to computer. Save the file to be used as per requirement.
To restore EFS double-click “Restore_EFS file” and follow instructions to restore EFS data.
